Our unique Sunday roast menus are a treat for the entire family.  We serve the meat on butcher’s boards as sharing roasts where guests enjoy the experience of carving their own mini joints on the table. We also feature an exotic meat each season.

Freshly cooked seasonal vegetables and hot spiced roast potatoes are unlimited and served in hand made exotic serving dishes from India.    

Our freshly made gravy is now enjoyed extra hot from a beautiful hand carved heated copper bowl on the table. 

 

Starters

Home cured meat salad
Goat, smoked duck, chicken, poached peach, grilled pineapple, pearl millet, beetroot, lightly dehydrated nutbourne tomatoes, burnt coconut and raspberry dressing

Grilled seabass salad
Seabass, crispy anchovies, mango, grapefruit, amaranth, cucumber, spinach leaves, grapefruit vinaigrette dressing

Soup of the day

Grilled halloumi salad
Grilled halloumi, asparagus, fennel, cocktail gherkins, quinoa, olives, foraged vegetables, pickled walnut, aromatic orange dressing

 

Main course

Corn fed chicken

Belly of British free range pork

Saddle of British lamb

English grain fed beef fillet steak - £3.00 supplement charge for privilege card holders

Pan roasted wild sea bass

Baked Aubergine with Kentish goats cheese

All roasts are accompanied by unlimited 

Spiced pan roasted cauliflower, stir fried spinach, Sweet potato and wild nettle hash, roasted Yukon gold potatoes, Canterbury pudding and homemade gravy.

 

Desserts

Kent pears and star anise crumble
Warm Masala chai custard

Chocolate tart, cashew nut brittle
warm vanilla and brandy cream

Lemon & pomegranate bavarois
Kopra Pak, lemon verbena & white chocolate cream

Rose and vanilla crème brulee

At certain times dishes or ingredients are restricted due to market availability. We will do our best to remove nuts when necessary.  However, we cannot guarantee 100% removal of all nut traces.

We take great care to remove bones from our fish wherever possible.  It is possible that some bones remain in the fish. Our wood pigeon is shot in the wild.  It is possible shot traces to still be contained within the meat. The menu can be adapted for most dietary requirements, please notify the reservations department of any special requests upon making a reservation. We take all precautions to minimize cross contamination. However allergens are all handled in our kitchens and cross contamination of allergens is possible.  Service Charge not included.
