For Christmas we offer a four course set price menu for your guests to pre order from. If you want to take the hassle out of Christmas and you dont wish to worry with chasing pre orders then we have a great six course Chrstimas tasting menu for £29.95 below.

STARTERS 

TRIO OF VEGETARIAN STREET FOOD 
Crispy poori, sweet potato and chick pea flour dumpling, steamed yogurt and vermicelli cake, tomato chutney.

 

TENDER BREAST OF POUSSIN MARINATED IN FRESH TURMERIC AND CUMIN
Red radish salad, coriander chutney, chicken roulade, mango and red onion salad.

 

BREAST OF WOOD PIGEON SMOKED WITH CLOVES

Rosemary and cinnamon poached peach, pigeon roulade, seasonal berries, chili and mango chutney, mango and red onion salad.

(Our wood pigeon is shot in the wild.  It is possible shot traces to still be contained within the meat.)

 

SEAFOOD, PICKLED SAMPHIRE

Piri piri prawn, grilled Tilapia, smoked tomato chilli and lime crab cake.

BALLOTINE OF FREE RANGE BRONZE TURKEY, WINTER VEGETABLES, ROAST POTATOES, HOME-MADE CRANBERRY SAUCE, JUS
                          

STUFFED BUTTERNUT SQUASH, RISOTTO, EXOTIC MUSHROOM, ASPARAGUS, PARMESAN 

Cumin spiced red lentil and spinach, sauce of yoghurt and green pea.

 

AMBRETTE STYLE CHICKEN THIGH WITH LEMON GRASS, STIR FRIED GREENS, FENUGREEK PAPRIKA POTATO

Mint and coriander chutney, crispy onion, fresh coriander, biryani rice.

 

FRESH FISH OF THE DAY, LOCALLY GROWN SEA SPINACH AND RED LENTIL, CRISPY TILAPIA.

Paprika potatoes, Biryani rice, Kerala coconut sauce. (It is possible that some bones will remain in the fish)

 

BELLY OF BRITISH PORK, SEASONAL VEGETABLES, PAPRIKA, FENUGREEK POTATOES

Biryani rice, crackling, sauce of tomato and ginger.

 

KERALA STYLE BRITISH BEEF STIR FRY, SEASONAL VEGETABLES, PAPRIKA FENUGREEK POTATOES

Spiced Mulled Wine scented with Myrrh

Myrrh resin is a natural gum. It has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine.

 

23 carat Edible gold coated mini samosa as amuse bouche

Edible Gold and Silver has no flavour and is feather-light. It is a natural food additive. Sheer luxury.

 

Cocktail of Jumbo Indian ocean tiger prawns marinated in rosemary and frankincense

Frankincense resin is edible and is used in traditional medicines in Africa and Asia for digestion and healthy skin. It is characterized by a balsamic-spicy, slightly lemon fragrance.

 

Soup of hearty Christmas vegetables

 

Ballotine of free range bronze Turkey marinated in Christmas tree pine

Winter vegetables, roast potatoes, home-made cranberry sauce, jus

Pine needles have a minty, fresh, and yes, pine-like flavour that make an intriguing component to everything from a roast to a round of cocktails. An excuse to eat the Christmas tree! Pine needles provide a good supply of vitamin C.

  • For all tables of 10 or more the booking must be secured with card details before the booking is confirmed.
  • Pre orders are required with guest names a minimum of 2 weeks before the party. 
  • Please ensure you inform the server or manager of any allergies.
